She was best known as the Founder and CEO of Olaiya Foods and Catering services – one of the strongest brands in the buka-style food industry in Nigeria, which she started from a mini space on Akerele road, Surulere, after serving under the tutelageof her mother.
She started Olaiya Foods and Catering services in 1999 and successfully turned it from a one outlet restaurant, to what it is today.
The business has since grown to become one of the most successful chain of Buka-style Restaurant businesses in Nigeria.
She is one of those credited with changing the competitive outlook of the Buka-syle Restaurant industry in Nigeria.
Her children have since taken over after her demise, and moving the organisation to greater heights.
